CM Punk has been stealing other wrestlers’ in-ring gear during WWE live events over the last few weeks. He did the same to IYO SKY at the recent live event in Calgary, Canada where he made his entrance wearing her robe. CM Punk is currently one of the biggest stars in WWE and is featured on almost every big event. He headlined this year’s WrestleMania against Roman Reigns where he lost the World Heavyweight Championship. However, he became World Champion once again as he defeated Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Championship in his return match in July. Since then, he has become the primary attraction of SmackDown.
Ever since his return last month, Punk has also been regularly appearing on WWE live events. Since the live shows are not related to main storylines, stars usually have extra fun on them. During the recent weeks, The Best in the World has started this trend where he steals from other wrestlers’ wardrobes. He stole Charlotte Flair’s robe at a recent event and then did the same with Trick Williams’ jacket.
CM Punk has now added IYO SKY to the list of stars he has stolen gear from. He stole her iconic robe during his entrance at the recent live event in Calgary and even did her iconic pose. The video from the event has been making rounds on the internet.
CM Punk is currently feuding with Kevin Owens on SmackDown
CM Punk defeated Cody Rhodes at Summer Slam to successfully defend his Undisputed WWE Championship. However, he didn’t beat Cody clean as he had some help from Randy Orton who interfered during the match. At the same event, Kevin Owens became the #1 Contender for Punk’s Championship by defeating Sami Zayn, Finn Balor and Gunther. Since then, Owens and Punk have verbally assaulted each other over the last few weeks of SmackDown. Finally, they stepped in the ring for the title last week in Toronto. However, Sami Zayn interfered in the match which led to Punk hitting a GTS on KO and escaping with the win. It seems like the rivalry between Punk and Kevin Owens is far from over.
